Global Access Water Filter
Not Just Clear Water, Safe Water.
Product Design, Packaging Design, Branding,
Clear water does not mean safe water.
Loophole travels to communities around the world to research and understand the challenges of collecting safe water. We are field testing our filters first-hand and feel that it is our primary responsibility to listen and take time to deeply understand the challenges.
"The Amazon is one of the most challenging rivers in the world. If we solve the problem in Peru, the people of Peru solve the problem for the world."Rob Miller
Approximately 88% of deaths due to diarrhea related illness' worldwide are attributable to unsafe water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene. Diarrhea related diseases (such as cholera) kill more children than AIDS, malaria, and measles combined, making it the second leading cause of death among children under five.
The Global Access filtration system was originally developed and patented in partnership with Global Access 2030, a 501(c)(3). Their mission is to contribute to the United Nations sustainable development goal 6.1, ensuring all people worldwide have access to safe and affordable drinking water and sanitation by 2030.
The filter system was developed to be simple to communicate, simple to implement, and simple to maintain. The technology uses a 0.1 micron ultra-fine hollow tube technology to eliminate 99.99% of all contaminants, including E. Coli, bacteria, cholera, and parasites.
Global Access 2030 partnered with RheoBlu to manufacture and distribute these amazingly simple filters. RheoBlu’s mission is to provide 10 million clean, safe water filtration systems to the world in 5 years. That is one serious BHAG!
