Kids Snacks in a Snip
The Snack Snippers were designed to support the Montessori approach and build independence for young kids through the ability to open their own snacks. Hand dexterity and fine motor skills of kids ages two and up have been evaluated and tested to safely operate with a single quick snip. To reduce parts costs, the final product was engineered for manufacture as a single part with fast cycle times, safe blade stroke, and suggestive teeth. The unofficial name "Snippi" and the color "Key Lime Swirl" are conceptual.
